Yevarechicha HaShem M'Tzion

Moshe Braun was motivated to create this work after many years of sketching and studying Jerusalem. Additional inspiration came from Tehillim (The book of Psalms). Moshe has been drawn to this pasuk (verse) for a long time. He has included the Kotel (Western Wall), the Zion gate, the Sir Moses Montifiore Windmill and the Churvah Synagogue in the piece.

A technical note about the completion of the piece: The work itself is a laser reproduction of an original hand executed papercut. The background paper is hand painted watercolor with pastels. The English calligraphy and gold gouache are hand applied as well. The white paper containing the papercut is BFK Rieves. The deckled edges are hand finished.
