Hanukkiah Contest 2005

On this page are the entries for this year's Hanukkiah Contest. Applicants were betweeen the ages of 8-13. Jewish-art-and-gifts.com wishes to congratulate all the children who entered our contest. The creations were amazing!

First place went to: Avigayil Benstein, Age 12. Avigayil created a multi-dimensional Hanukkiah with different couples dancing on top of CD's. The dancers are made out of clay. In the background is a picture of other dancers and the shamash in the center is a DJ!

Second place went to Eli Kagan, Age 11. Eli created his Hanukkiah out of ceramics and it consists of 9 large palm trees with various animals climbing up and down them, giving it a real tropical effect.

Second place was shared with Avrami Fried , Age 11. Avrami created his Hanukkiah out of etching on brass metallic paper. The effect is beautiful!

Third place went to Eli Fine, Age 13 and Shira Fine, Age 11. Their Hanukkiah is created from plastelina figures hugging their candleholders. They are placed on a hand-designed wooden board with color wording of the Bracha "Haneirot Halalu Kodesh Hem.."
