Blessing for the Home

The Blessing for the Home, signed by the artist, was created, printed and framed in Jerusalem. Zeesi, the artist, has the ability to bring the warmth, joy and beauty of Jerusalem and Judaism to her art. In this piece, we see a dazzling mixture of warm colors, the Holy Ark with a ner tamid (eternal light) in the center, on the left the Old City of Jerusalem, and on the right a landscape from Ein Gedi, one of the most beautiful waterfalls in Israel on the shore of the Dead Sea, all enveloped by flowers in the border. The Hebrew text says:

"Master of the universe, please place in our house light, happiness, peace & friendship, & shower a continual flow of blessing & holiness in all of our rooms & in every corner, & may the light of your Torah & mitzvot [commandments] continuously blossom here."
